Feasibility study
A sound basis for your project decision.
Before any equipment is selected, we establish what is technically possible, permissible and economically sensible at your site. The feasibility study brings together existing conditions, requirements and options in a clear basis for decision. It is the first step of every project and can also be commissioned as a stand-alone service.

- 01
Site survey
We record the roof structure, load-bearing capacity, access, cable routes, incoming supply, existing distribution equipment and load profiles. Existing PV, storage and charging installations are documented. This shows how much power is used today and where limits may arise.
- 02
Construction concept, permits and funding processes
We develop a construction concept for the site and establish which permits are required and which funding programmes may apply. Deadlines, documents and responsibilities are named so that the next steps remain predictable.
- 03
Electrical assessment, metering concept and grid connection to VDE rules
We assess the electrical installation, develop the metering concept and prepare the discussion with the grid operator. The connection concept and electrical protection are considered under the applicable VDE application rules.
- 04
Structural and expert reports
Structural reports, environmental studies and further specialist assessments are coordinated with publicly appointed experts. Required evidence is commissioned early so that it is available when the project decision is made.
- 05
Design options and economics
On this basis we compare design options for solar PV, storage, backup power and EV charging. Economic assumptions are disclosed. We do not quote blanket returns or savings without site data.
- 06
Report and recommendation
The study documents existing conditions, options, assessment and a recommendation with next steps. It serves as the basis for engineering, procurement and quotations and can be shared with specialist designers, owners and decision-making bodies.
How the feasibility study proceeds
- 01
Project definition and data collection
Objectives, site data, existing documents and consumption data.
- 02
Site visit
Roof, technical rooms, distribution equipment, cable routes and available areas.
- 03
Technical assessment
Electrical installation, grid connection, structural checks and required reports.
- 04
Options and assessment
Design options, outage requirements, economic assessment.
- 05
Report and review meeting
Documentation, recommendation and agreement on next steps.
What you receive
- Documented site survey with photos, diagrams and measurements
- Assessment of permits, grid connection and funding options
- Comparison of design options with disclosed assumptions
- Recommendation with scope of work and next steps
- Basis for engineering, tendering and quotations
Scope and depth of the study are agreed per site. For portfolios with several properties we offer a coordinated process with an individual assessment of each site.
